Sadly, one of the watches that was shipped out to Canada was damaged in transit. Bent spring bar and maybe bent winding stem, not sure.

Here is the deal.
l Respond to this thread and honor to put in a new spring bar and fix it if it is indeed broken.
l Get in touch with the person that has it now to pay him for shipping it to you. He is in Canada.
l Optional: If you do not want to keep the watch or want to pass it on in the future, give it away as karma.
l Optional: Donate some money to WUS or a charity of your choice to pay it forward.

I will ask my 3YO daughter to pick a post to give it to on Saturday the 15th and announce the winner here.

I think I can handle the spring bar...I might even have a vintage Chinese one to use
Straightening a winding stem is probably not a big deal either.
Since I live in Canada, postage shouldn't break the bank

Dear,
repairing the watch and passing it on to a person in need of
something special I like the most...
but bending a stem back will break, with love I will make a brand new one for this special watch... (or repair it with a stem lengthener thread 0,9 mm)
Springbar is no problem ofcource...
But this watch will be NO keeper for me or my wife, it will be passed on with Alfanator in mind!

Spring bar is fixed. All is working. Bent stem? I'm not quite sure, could be just the way chinese are built.
Just not feeling this one. I do like the dial, its nicest part IMO.
This puppy is ready to go. ;)
