Hi all,
on an italian watch forum I found the pics of the new Seagull 1963 re-issue, in 40 mm case size also with different dial combo/colurs.
Has anyone here info on these new models ? Prices and where to buy them ?
Thanks,
Engi

A panda! How cute!
So I guess ebay will soon be flooded with used '63s in the smaller size?![]()

Thanks Engi for posting the new models. I searched the Sea-Gull HK & Tianjin websites and couldn't find them. I suspect they may have been contracted with a special buy from Sea-Gull.
Engi, can you post a link to the thread? Did the original poster indicate where he got the pictures or the origins of the watches?
thanks,
gigfy
beautiful watch!

I contacted the person that I have been in contact with before at Sea-Gull and asked him about the two models. His answer was very simple: "we don't sell them"
I wonder who actually does....

Ah, that makes sense. It's another Sea-Gull Hong Kong special. They've done a few limited runs of 1963-style chronos for foreign clients, including 'private label' pieces. No doubt these new larger ones are either another special order, or else Sea-Gull HK are making general changes in line with customer feedback. Whichever it is, there would be no involvement by the Tianjin office.

I have contacted a person that works for Sea-Gull HK and I hope he can shed some light on the new models.
It's interesting that there are such differences in models available by Sea-Gull Tianjin and Sea-Gull HK
HK have some good looking models (even the similar model to the 1963 re-issue). Too bad these are all not displayed at the store in Kowloon (HK), but what is mainly displayed is what Sea-Gull Tianjin carries

I just noticed that Sea-Gull HK actually does carry the 1963 re-issue!
(at least on the website)

the pictures from their store opening does not look at all like the store that I have visited. I actually just realized that there are two stores in Hong Kong. One on the island and one of the Kowloon side; I have only been to the store on the Kowloon side. Will see if I can make it to the store on the island this weekend
