    watch repair service in shanghai?

Two of my vintage manual wind watches (1 shanghai and 1 longines) are off by more than a minute a day. and i just picked up a seiko 6139 the day setting isn't working on it. I know a few people on this forum seem to spend a fair bit of time in shanghai. I was hoping one of them could recommend a watchmaker to me. The manual winds would probably be easy for them but i would imagine the 6139 would need a relatively skilled guy.

    Thanks in advance.

Shanghai - there is a watch shop on Zizhong Lu (close to Dongtai Lu) that might be able to help you.

For the Longines I would suggest that you go to an official dealer, I think there is one just south of Huai Hai Zhong Lu where every weekend there are markets and activities. Just west of Fuxing Park.

For the Seiko - go their service center: Room 2701, Hongyi Plaza 288. They are only open during normal working hours.

Thanks for the info. To be honest i'm afraid the official dealers would charge to much to service a vintage watch neither of which is very expensive. have you had any experince with what the official dealers charge for service?

I brought my 7002 to the Seiko service center and as parts had to be replaced (at least according to the service center) and the watch being from 1993 they did not have such old parts in the center. I sent it to Europe for a check-up (no need to replace any parts) and it now works great!
