Haveston m1936 head blasted strap. The strap colors work really well IMO. And the hardware is beadblasted too!

The stock strap is fairly nice, although I prefer something a bit thicker. Black does dress up the blue dial!

Padded leather strap from Watchgecko. Unfortunately it tapers from 22 to 18mm, so I cant use the deployment clasp from the stock strap.

Although I do like the aggresive taper, it suits the dressier style of the watch.

Now I have both a Commander NATO and a Jubilee bracelet arrived at the same time. I will try them out and post photos and review on the weekend.

Here is a rough phone photo of the Midnight wearing a Cincy Strap Works Commander Regimental NATO. (thanks MEzz ) A better photo will follow in due course when I dig out a real camera.

The NATO brings out more of a sporty vibe from this watch. The dial is versatile enough to cross over between formal and casual (my wife disagrees with me on this point). The down side is that, as with any NATO, it makes the watch sit higher on the wrist and magnifies the perceived mass. On my wrist this makes it a bit uncomfortable for all-day wear, but fine for a few hours. If your wrist is on the larger side, this watch on a NATO would sit more comfortably.

All things considered, I'm calling this experiment a success. Proof that the Midnight dial Project Peacock has more than one side to its personality.

So have you managed to try the bracelet? I really need to find one that works as I will only be wearing this watch on a bracelet!!

Here is my Pilot. I love the vintage case finish. The Strap is a Rios 1931 aviator. This is a lovely strap. i have every color combo of it.

I'm going to need to take my time with that. The lugs have been drilled fairly high and close to the case to make this watch wearable on a greater variety of wrist sizes. This means that I will need to bend the bracelet's hollow end links into a profile that will line up with the holes. I believe this can be done, but with much trial-and-error. A straight-ended bracelet would have been the easier solution, but this will be more satisfying if it works.
