Agreed. I have a bit of a soft spot for Big Mick.

Three nil to the Arsenal. I think we played well. In the second half particularly we terrorised Bolton. Theo had a good game I just think he needs to find his shooting boots. Pity about his injury though. Hope it's not too serious. On the bright side maybe it opens the door for the ox. Robin is pure class and I think that our defense looked much, much better than last week.

    Here's to Olympiakos.

    Cheers

Our season seems to be in the toilet.... Porto's CL with one win, one tie and one defeat. We're still in first on out league and we progressed on the cup with a robust 8-0 win over a lower division team. But we are playing poorly. If we keep this up we're going to lose the first place soon enough....

I'm a big FCB fan, but lately La Liga is very boring. It's a two team league.

Our season has been to depressing to be worth a comment.

But today is the Euro 2012 lottery, and We (Portugal) ended up with Germany, Netherlands and Denmark. I'm guessing nobody is happy for being in this group. Am I right?

    Other tough groups:

Spain, Ireland, Croacia and Italy- kind of funny because Trap ( Ireland coach) said in an interview he'd like to avoid Spain or Italy. Congrats you got them both! :D

Ukraine, France, Sweden and England doesn't look too hot either. But England Vs France is going to be worth seeing. I'm betting one of them will not go forward :)

I'm sure the Greeks are happy about Group "A" though. With Group "B" some of the championship matches will be played at this stage. Wow.

This week was a blast in the UEFA competitions. We were relegated to the Europa League, and so were Manchester United, Manchester City, and Ajax. Two of the favorites right there. Now the Europa League is suddenly a lot more interesting. Barça and R. Madrid look unstoppable. And maybe Chelsea still has a word to say on the competition.

I see that Wolves sacked Big Mick today. I suppose you cannot sack the players so...
Wonder how Spurs will make out if Harry goes to manage England. Interesting times and we never mentioned Luis Suarez yet... or AVB and his problems at Chelsea.

AVB is managing a team of "superstars" instead of the hardworking nobodies he had in Porto. A lot of big egos to manage and he's probably way over is head. Too bad because he really is a good coach. He needs a few more years under his belt I guess. Still I had high hopes for him.

Well the "Special One" is said to be anxious to come back to the Premier League so maybe he'd like a replay at Chelsea. However I would think he'd like a gig at Manchester United better if Sir Alex decides to retire. I don't think Spurs will hire him because he's too much of a "big budget" manager. My bet is David Moyes coming in as Harry version 2.0
