OK, so I was talking to a couple friends earlier today and the subject of 'best band of all time' came up. While I'm not asking who the best band of all time is (subjective)...what's your favorite band of all time?
My answer has changed over the years on occasion...but always comes back to one: The Clash.
The Ventures come to mind right away, but there's a lot more.
Based on my forum nick, I'll give you one guess.

For me it's Nine Inch Nails followed very closely by the Deftones. I like a pretty big variety of music but I pretty much listen to something from both of these bands every day.

The Clash are a mighty good answer. As much as I like Tom Waits, The Clash, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Dylan...I always, always, always come back to The Beatles.

Love the Eagles-Queen are hard to beat. In more recent times, I like Coldplay.
