before but this is just plain stupid. The BC cops say they are going to punish him to the fullest extent of the law. He wasn't just endangering his own life but he could have killed someone else. At that speed, he could have cut right through a car. I cringed at a couple of the passes he made.

I saw that on the news. 299 kph, that's very fast. My bike tops out at about 185. The guys a loaded weapon.

No doubt, it's one thing to risk your own life but to endanger others lives is unacceptable. Thank God it wasn't at rush hour.

That's insane. The max I've ever ridden is about ~110 mph, and that was on a racing track. I don't think I've gone over 80 mph on a public road, and I ride a crotch rocket.

I saw that on the news, but watching it again I still got all antsy. I drove that highway a few times when I lived in Victoria and that would have scared the sh#* out of me if that guy came roaring by. I'd probably try to follow him and call the cops.

That video made me cringe, I regularly drive that stretch of highway when I travel to Victoria, I could only imagine the horror if I were unfortunate enough to change lanes while that darwin winner drove past at 299kph

Tragically, he will likely never be caught and punished. There is no way to identify the rider, only the bike. Unless someone sings, he's going to get away with it.

How big is that stretch of highway? Frankly, although the guy was going fast, I think the speedometer is rigged. Still an idiot though...
