    Men's Jewelry

What do you think of men's designer jewelry like David Yurman, Scott Kay, Stephen Webster, Konstantino and John Hardy. Is some of it okay or too tacky?

I have a David Yurman necklace with a cross pendent but I am looking for something different. What do you think if these pendants?

Well, the second one is Thor's Hammer, an old Norse symbol. It is garishly and unauthentically decorated, but still a Thor's Hammer.

Maybe a version Fro (another Norse God) would wear.
The first one you could use as a Prince Albert, and the last one - no, too girly.

Not a big fan of mens jewelry in general. Watches and a wedding band.

I do,however, wear a RATHER substantial John Hardy silver bracelet personally signed by him when he made a personal appearance at the Saks my wife was managing at the

    time.

    Re: Men's Jewelry

The only thing I wear is my watch. Much like tattoos, I can't think of anything important enough to me that I would want it on display, and unlike a woman, for example, I have no reason to draw attention to my neckline with a necklace. I'm not married, and therefore do not wear a ring, but if I were to get married, I would prefer to wear my ring as a necklace, since I can't stand to have anything between my fingers or toes, and I have no religion, so I have no beliefs to advertise. I can't even wear flip flops.

Not judging or criticizing, but I don't understand the point of jewelry on a man unless it means something to you personally (like a wedding ring or a cross, I suppose) or serves a practical purpose (like a watch). Many times I see bracelets on clothing sites like J.Crew or Banana Republic, I say "Oh that looks cool", but then I never buy it because I can't understand why I would wear it.

A man's watch is a very cherished thing. You steal that, you might as well be stealing his soul.
