I nvr try one before...
Is it nice??
La Gloria Cubana. They still roll some in Little Havana, I stop by the store to pick up a box when I'm headed out of town to a conference
you all have me beat! I only got one Excalibur Dark Knight left. Smoked all my cigars while I was on vacation and now waiting for a delivery of some Excaliburs and NUBs to restock my humidor. I have a small humidor for about 25-30 cigars. the more cigars I have the more I smoke and I'm trying not to smoke more than 1 a week.
I was wearing an OM on vacation so I snapped a shot of it with my cigar when I had a smoke on a balcony one afternoon.
Now I was taking a picture of my last cigar in a humidor and of course, my dog, as always, was curious of what's in the box and sneaked into the shot.
my favorite cigars lately are:
Excalibur Dark Knight I - medium/full
NUB Maduro - medium/full
Oliva Serie V Figurado - full bodied.
Oliva V Figurado is my favorite of them all but it is about $11 per cigar so it's not too often that I would smoke 1.
Excalibur Dark Knight are very good, not expensive($75 for box of 20) and taste great. NUBs are great too but are more expensive than the Excaliburs.
Tried 3 different Gurkha cigars(whatever they had as a 5-pack special at cigars international and I got 3 different 5-packs), didn't like them.
Tried Rocky Patel Vintage 1992 recently and it was OK with not much going on as far as flavor, but mild and pleasant smoke perfect as an after lunch relaxation cigar.
You need to open your mind and think otuside the bx!!!
Please PM me your address.
Som Rocky Patels are OK, try the RP Decade and the RP edge maduro.Oliva V Figurado is my favorite of them all but it is about $11 per cigar so it's not too often that I would smoke 1.

Lets get you a little cigar-cultured!!! (PM me addy)
And also, how do you like that Xikar Executive (lighter)? I love side fire lighters.
Xikar lighter's decent. Nothing to right home about though.
I love the way it looks, the way it feel in my hand and the operation is OK. The only complaint is the torch flame. It's weak and the adjustment range is almost non-existent. You either get the weak torch or nothing. But it does the job.
I just got another lighter, the Bugatti. It has better torch, better adjustment range, better flame and feels more solid than the Xikar. Plus it has a punch cutter built in, although I haven't used it yet.
Considering that the Xikar was $20, and I got a Bugatti for $20 on sale as well, I'd say for the same price Bugatti wins without a doubt.
If by side fire you mean the ignition button is on the side, then both the Bugatti and the Xikar are side firing and I love this feature. The top of the Xikar opens when you hit the ignition. The top of the Bugatti you have to flip open manually then press the side ignition button to light it. I kind of like this better - it keeps certain curious individuals from lighting a torch lighter by accident.
So what do you have in mind? What brands you suggest? I tried Bolivar Cofradia, Partagas Black(lately the quality is so bad, this cigar is just garbage and I don't buy it anymore), Carlos Torano Casa Torano which I really liked. Very similar to Excalibur Dark Knight taste and price wise.
Oh yeah...the Gurkha I tried was Gran Reserve Robusto and Legend Robusto. Didn't care for either kind. May be I got a 5-pack from a bad batch...who knows.

Ahh!! Cigars, watches, vintage bamboo flyrods all of these are the good things of life.
Casano has lots of different cigars that range from expensive to very reasonable. I love their Cubano model.
Onyx Reserve is one of my favorites, along w/ Oliva, Perdomo, Partagas, and Bacaratte. I do like the full bodied ones but occasionally I like to have one a little more on the mild side.
