I have never smoked one. I don't even know what are the brands. Cigars are very expensive here.

Cigars, specially the Cuban ones, are cheap here.
In fact, all tobacco products are cheap here.

Gin & Tonic
Rum & Diet


Scotch is too rich with a cigar for my tastes. Though many might fall into the cliche of thinking "YOU MUST HAVE A SINGLE MALT HIGHLAND SCOTCH WITH YOUR CIGAR".... I don't buy it.

Espresso with Sambuca in it; cognac; burbon are three of my favorites. It also depends on what kind of a meal I've just had and my choice of cigar for the moment. A plus is to have another WUS present so we can talk watches and cigars!

My humidor is down to less than 10 cigars.....

What brands do you guys like? How about strenght (mild/medium/full) ??

My tastes range the gamut, but I mostly go for medium to medium/full. The most important thing, no matter the strength, is flavor. I have been smoking Cubans exclusively the last 2 years. More interesting flavors to me, and more complex, in the sense that they develop and change more over the length of the smoke. I have also been smoking smaller ring gauge cigars since smoking Cubans (although not exclusively). Sometimes the flavors seem more concentrated in the smaller ring gauges, and I need to smoke outside, and especially in the colder seasons a shorter smoke is in order. Many petite coronas and minutos in my humi.

Back in my non-Cuban days, my go-to was the Montesino Robusto (relatively mild), made by Fuente. Reasonable priced.
