Shopping List Starting at 8pm PDT Tonight...

So, the Mega Millions lottery is 640 Million dollars...hmmm. Not usually a lottery sucker, but what the heck. Worth buying $20 worth of tickets just to fuel a couple hours of "what if".

So my initial shopping list (in no particular order):

1) Ferrari - 1 of each current production model

2) Homes - 1 each in Laguna Beach, Wailea, Auckland and NYC.

3) Watches - I'll have to limit myself to 25 or so due to space available while traveling

4) Investment Properties - Several in Southern California, Hawaii and Auckland

5) Cigars - a few pallets full from Cuba

Of course, charitable donations to causes I believe in (Doctors without Borders, Strippers without iPads, etc.)...

Oh well, a guy can dream.

I just went to get a few tickets. There were small lines for everywhere I went.

Well, what will you do when you win whopping $640,000,000?

Even after taxes, depending on the state you're in, that could be around $300,000,000.

Annuity would get you $10,000,000 a year for 30 years...

I would go on a very long vacation. Probably a whole week or so...

I'd set up two trusts. One for me and my family to make us comfortable for the rest of our lives. The other to fund the purchase of several farm properties across the country to be turned into completely self-sufficient no kill animal shelters. I would set up spay/neuter programs in every state. Properly invested the trusts would produce enough income to do all that without ever dipping into principal. So the animal shelters would continue long after my death and my family would be taken care of into future generations as well.

Well i just bought tickets to a relatively small $21 million draw in Australia. I will still take it if i win.

A nice boat would be on the agenda for me.
