Maui Jim Kapenas. Kapena apparently means "captain".

I'm looking for a pair of frameless sunglasses to go along with them, something a bit more casual and lighter. I have tried the Maui Jim hingeless designs, and they just don't work on my face.
I've tried the hingeless too and for some reason they feel too loose. Most of the frameless ones they make feel this way to me, but they are darn comfortable. I haven't purchased a pair of Mauis in about 5 years, but I'm about due for new sunglasses. I have a habit of dropping sunglasses and my frameless Ray Bans are chipping on the edges of the lenses from my clumsiness. I need to look into composite or plastic frames next time because I am bad about bending the metal frames.

    Re: Show us your Sunglasses.

I have a vintage pair of Ray-Ban aviators, from the old Chromax Driving series that I love - they are still in near-perfect condition, they are top quality.

But they suck for anything other than driving, really. They are as old as I am as well, so I'm too nervous to take them out of the truck - if I wore them in the boat or on the beach, etc, I'm sure they would end up at the bottom of the lake or otherwise gone forever/ruined.

I want a sportier pair, for the beach, etc, but can't settle on what I wan't. Something bold, colourful, fun to wear. I'm not into most Oakley styles - I don't want to look like an outfielder. I saw someone wearing a pretty cool pair he said were 'Nooka", but they were a gift and I can't find them anywhere to try on.

Unlike watches, I only have 1 pair of sunglasses, which I never go outside without them on. I usually keep that 1 pair for 5-6 years, then I just buy something similar. I'm very picky when it comes to shades.

Right now I'm have a pair of Revo Discern titaniums which I picked up a little over a month ago.
