Not exactly mini anymore, is it? For what it's worth, I like the looks of it on photo. I'd have to see one in front of me togive my final opinion. I can't understand those tyres, though. If it's a offroader it needs ...offroad habilities , to keep it simple. If it's an SUV, it should have boot space (this doesn't) an tyres that will allow it to go over imperfections on the road easilly. The low profiles should be aoptional feature, IMO, but then again our roads are always a mess of potholes...![]()

My neighbor has a clubman and even though it's longer than a mini cooper, the driving experience is still similar. To me, that's a big reason to buy mini. If the steering, handling, and ride is responsive and similar to the coopers' then I'd take a look at it...but probably only out of curiousity. Not sure I'd have it as my "family car". Not in the same category, but I'd also look at VW GTI for driving experience and some utility in cargo space...if only it's reliability were a bit more consistent. sigh.
Cheers,

They have managed to make a car that looks worse than the Clubman.
I actually like the clubman. But looking at your country of origin, I understand what you mean. There's really nothing quite like the original. I shudder just thinking of what is Tata going to do with the Defender when they update it next year. I'm not sure Land Rover will be the same without a machine like the defender in the ranks...
