Inception was really good. I can't say that it lived up to the hype.
I don't watch many movies twice and I'd like another peek at this one. I guess that says something?

"Personal Effects". A movie about two families coping with the loss of a family member. Decent story, good acting, moves along. Give it a "B".

"Red Baron". Had high hopes for this one, since its a favorite genre of mine. Good movie with some spectacular special effects (CGI). Disappointed that the story didn't pull you in more. The actor who played the real-life "Red Baron" was a dead-ringer - looked just like him. Give the movie a "B+".

"African Queen" Classic Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn flic. This was the restored, Blu-Ray edition. Excellent movie. "A"
Nice, thanks for the reviews. I'm looking forward to watching Salt, too.

Watched "When In Rome" with Kristen Bell. She's a real cutie.

The movie itself wasn't terribly great, though. I would rate it a B.

Saw the "Art of the Steal" last night. Its a fascinating documentary about the struggle for control of one of the World's most prized art collections between the foundation that originally controlled the collection and the cultural art elites in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The documentary is very well made, interesting, and entertaining. Not dry or dull at all.

The Barnes art collection is considered to be the World's best collection of Post-Impressionism, It includes 181 Renoir's, 69 Cezanne's, 59 Matisse's, 46 Picasso's, 18 Rousseau's, 11 Degas', 7 Van Gogh's, 6, Seurat's, 4 Manet's, and 4 by Monet. So, you can see its impressive. And it is valued at over $4 Billion (USD) (not bad for a private collection, eh?).

If you are a fan of documentaries or art - or enjoy stories about the struggles of the "David" against "Goliath" - you will certainly enjoy this film.

City of God made its way to the top of the NF que, what a great movie. Thanks for the recommendation.

Just saw the new A-Team movie, and the verdict? Awesome :D

Entirely over the top and gratuitous throughout, silly humour and some amusingly silly and large set pieces. Fantastic.

I hope nobody was expecting anything serious ;)

Watched Hot Tub Time Machine. Mindless, dirty humor. But entertaining.

    I give it a B.

I watched two terrible movies, neither of which, would I recommend.

    1. Table for Three. A poorly filmed movie about a couple that rents a room from a single guy, who isn't good with the ladies. They wreck his life.
    2. Don McKay. Elizabeth Shue and Thomas Haden Church star in this poorly acted film. The story might have been a winner if the acting looked natural and not like acting.
