Watched Prince of Persia: Sands of Time on the plane. Nice visuals, and a hot lead actress.

It also seems Jake has buffed out a lot since his Day After Tomorrow days.

I wish there were more actions scenes, though. I would give it a B+.

Also watched The Jones. A very interesting movie, and also kept my intrigued all the way through. Great performances by Duchovny and Moore.

I rate this movie an A-.

I watched Harry Brown the other night. It is a 2009 flick, starring Michael Caine.
I had to wait some time before it finally was delivered by Net Flix, regardless it was worth the wait.
It is a somewhat tired tale of vigilante justice, with enough freshness and a nice twist to make it enjoyable.
    I'd give it a solid B.

Thoroughly enjoyed "Kick-Ass" this past weekend. Original, funny, entertaining, likable characters, ... This is the first movie based on a graphic novel that I've really liked (didn't like Sin City, Watchmen, Wanted, etc.).

    I give "Kick-Ass" a solid "A".

Just watched Inception at the theaters this morning. What a great concept, and great performances from the cast.

I rate this movie an A, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I saw The American a couple of weeks ago. I enjoyed it. The cinematography and directing were excellent. It wasn't so hyped up on technology, but more driven by the acting and story.

Though there is still some miraculous dodges from bullets by clooney. Why do the bad guys, even the professional hit men have such bad aim?

    Remember Me

I just finished "Remember Me". It stars Robert Pattinson, who is supported by Lena Olin, Chris Cooper and Pierce Brosnan.
This is a 2010 movie, I don't remember it being in the theatres. If it was, I don't think it was long...I'm not sure why it isn't the talk of the town.
I don't want to give any parts away, nor the end. The Net Flix synopsis doesn't do it justice, but that is probably best.
This movie is a philosophical, romantic tragedy. It starts with a disturbing murder. From there it will make you laugh and cry. It was remarkable. I give it an A+!
This is quite possibly the best role I have seen Pierce Brosnan in.
    Check it out.

    Re: Weekly Movie Review II

Just watched Robin Hood. Although it wasn't exactly a bad movie, it wasn't terribly good either. For me, it lacked a movie climax, and most of the emotional elements of the film were too weak.

Also, viewers who expect similarities to the Robin Hood from the 90s should be warned that this film has completely different tones.

    I rate this movie a B.
