What do you drive?

TR-6060 FTW! A really fun ride. I don't care enough to get into the politics of it all, but why Pontiac was cancelled while, say, saturn survived is well beyond me.

I did a complete mechanical rebuild on a '68 Gran Turismo Omologato in 2008, and while that era is lightyears away from what we see in common day, it was one of the most beautiful things I had ever seen, and it was all I could do to actually return the keys instead of just jumping in and taking it across the country, just for fun.

You have no idea how happy you made me by saying its full name! I have rebuilt 4. Two 68's and two 69's. Full rebuild from the ground up. They truly are drunk with torque aren't they?

I like you. I have had a C5 4.2 and now have a B6 3.0. Having a really hard time deciding between a new A4 or A5. I LOVE the coupe, but 4 doors are almost a necessity in most situations. Seeing as you have both, what do you find yourself driving more?

ut you're right, GM continued to whittke down, but the cancellation of Pontiac just seems so bloody stupid - it has such a great history, and a strong legion of followers.
