Popped a bag of movie theater butter popcorn while I sat back and got caught up on last week's TV shows.

It's not the real stuff, but hey, it gets the job done.

Sorry I may be misreading this, but how do you fry them in honey?

Nope, you didn't misread it. Instead of using butter, I put a dessert spoonful of honey in a frying pan and waited until just before it starts to bubble. Then I put in the banana's and periodically turn them so the honey can gradually caramelize around them. Just before the banana's get too soft, I empty them onto a plate and pour over the remaining caramelized honey. They are so tasty. You should give it a try.
    Cheers,
    Barry

That actually sounds really good. I just might have to try it.

Does it work with normal honey, or must it be manuka?

I assume it would work just the same. I only used Manuka honey because it's supposed to be good for you. If I hadn't had that, I would have just used the other normal honey I have.
    Cheers,
