I sliced up 2 chicken breasts and pan fried them in olive oil with some crushed garlic, and had that along with buttery mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower.
    Cheers,

All this talk of food, and no photos...

I'm throwing a deck party that will involve heaps of grilling tomorrow, so tonight I think a salad is in order:

I just got back from my niece's beach wedding. The rehearsal dinner consisted of a "low country boil," essentially crab legs, sausage, shrimp, potatoes, and ears of corn thrown together into a huge pot of seasoned, boiling water. Then the water is strained out and the food is dumped on newspaper in the middle of the table. Everyone grabs a plate and helps themselves. It's kind of like sharks with chum.

Nothing wrong with that - porridge can be great if it's done right!

Well, the grill was a success!

    Fire makes it good.

Too bad it's a complete pain in the nuts to get good beer in this country.
