I am currently on what I like to call the "the golfer physique" system. 9 holes for most days of the week, then 18 holes once or twice a week, starting in the mornings to escape the brutal Kansas City summer humidity of 90%+. Then I relax the rest of the day. Sadly, I know I can't keep this up, so I have make soon sort of routine deal to get back in shape, it needs to happen.

Indeed. That's the idea of this thread.

Anyway, woke up early and went for a quick game of tennis with the wife - it was only 1 set (3 games), but it was well worth it. Hopefully, I can get some more rowing done today.

Climbing is an excellent sport, and so is bouldering. On a related note, a few friends and I are planning on the 7 summits, starting with Aconcagua sometime this winter. I hope it comes to pass, if we're all not too lazy (or busy).

I run daily. Last night was 3 miles. I combined 13 miles this week. I love it!

I am going to pick up two kayaks sometime this week. We are also going to pick up two road bikes. The mountain bikes don't cut it when we have mostly been riding street. I don't mind using the mountain bikes, but my fiancée doesn't like it.

    Re: Your daily work out

I don't own a car - so I tend to walk a LOT more than most adults in the industrialized world.
Yes, I hand carry grocery bags - 4 at a time.

I do yoga at home mostly - took it up again a while ago after a 20 year hiatus.
And 60-90 minutes at the gym every other day, but no special "program" of any kind. I don't wanna bulk up anymore.
In fact, I went 6 months without working out in order to lose the muscle mass I use to have - so I could do mo' betta Yoga.
Oddly, I am losing more weight now, and my muscles are tighter - from doing yoga.

Cycle (road/path/trail), geocache, swim/snorkel/surf all year with varying intensities and regularity depending on the weather anf my own state of health. I just try to keep moving the best I can, as often as I can.

Not every day...around 4 times a week at the gym.

30 mins on average cardio with light weights and high reps for another 40 mins.

Anyway, my work out for the day was over 2 hours of rowing in the Charles River.
