Question on the gunmetal color on the bezel: how is this achieved? Is it a PVD coating?

I think I would prefer a plain steel bezel. Any chance of making that an option on the white model?

(And I like the bezel the way it is, without numbers or minute markers ...)
The gunmetal color is achieved by IP-Titanium onto the bezel.
Thank you for your suggestion, will consider than option too if we have enough quantity. Currently only 130 people backed, we don't have enough quantity to start a new model yet.

This is really cool. Thank you for letter me hold this for a week.

The leather won't fit my gorilla 8.3in wrist as I assumed, but no biggie.

    On canvas from strappedwatchco

    And on Armida bracelet

Can't wait to check it out in the daylight. It wears super comfy. I expected it to feel much bigger but wears very similar to my Borealis Seafarers. The crown doesn't dig in, if you're curious but I haven't worn it much, so we'll see.

^^^^ That Armida bracelet looks like it was made for that watch. The facets of the bracelet match the faceted case perfectly. I bet the Strapcode Hexad bracelet would look perfect too.

Re: [PREVIEW] BOLDR Odyssey Automatic Dive Watch

Project backed! I'm in for a Navy Blue dial Stainless steel version.

I really like the uniqueness of this watch. There are a lot of great design elements on this watch. The combination of the angular case and large proportions bezel lugs is very eyecatching. The very creative custom caseback artwork is another great element. The unique gear-like crown visually looks really good with the case design. The flat case area between the lugs will lend itself to working really well with a variety of aftermarket straps and bracelets. The navy blue "Steel Blue" dial version I went for looks like it is a nice dark blue, almost looking black in some photos, I like that. I would have ordered a black dial with stainless case & bezel but that combo isn't offered. Also, I see that this will come with an ISO style PU strap which looks like a really good setup.

    Looking forward to more pics.

Absolutely ! I haven't tried that Hexad bracelet but it looks super similar to it. Do you have one ? I wonder if it's a bit lighter than Armida's.

Congrats on backing it. I'm kinda broke right now working on some sales ASAP but the blue is the one I want also.

Here's a few pics before I gotta run to work.

[PREVIEW] BOLDR Odyssey Automatic Dive Watch

Addicted to stingray lately, I had to switch to it this morning but didn't have time to post.

I'm digging this a lot but the blue dial with brushed SS bezel is calling me more.

I'm really glad I reached out to BOLDR and they let me check it out and share with you all.

Great pics, that stingray strap is a perfect match! Which brand of strap is it? I may to pick one up as I'm in for the white model!

Thanks a lot. Stingray is from Edug Gude of 1971 on Facebook for only 70 euros each pair. Great quality. He's making me a green stingray now.

    He's also on IG: @edug_1971straps

Re: [PREVIEW] BOLDR Odyssey Automatic Dive Watch

    Hey guys,

Some updates for the project. With the feedback from fellow WUS friends, we decided to swap the 6-screw caseback for a more robust and reliable single piece construction screw-down caseback.

Also, we just received some Bronze Edition rendering for the BOLDR Odyssey. The colors of the days are not fixed yet and we are open to suggestions. Thinking if we should add like a sunburst blue/grey dial too.
