Nishant, what lens do you use to get those nice shallow DoF shots? A prime?

Nishant that is an awesome watch.
I've had my eye on a GSG9 for a long time, I absolutely love the dial. Very military. The only thing holding me back was the oil filled case. It works great but the maintenance is what i don't like- sending it to Germany for a battery and what not.
Your right about having a quartz at work, my job as well requires an accurate watch, that's why my tuna is always on my wrist and I don't have to worry about it being off by a few.

Yeap another photo-filled-crazy-makemedrool-Nishant-unveiling thread!! awesome photos buddy and you know where this puppy is going when you get tired of it next week
I LOVE it. I actually have a U1 on the way but want tto add a GSS9 to the collection too at some point when the right one comes up FS <hint hint >
Having to send it to Sinn for battery change doesnt worry me too much, it's not like it needs it often plus Nishant wont own it long enough anyways
    Congrats!!

Wonderful shots as always. Can't believe it's rated that deep for how thin it is too. Just the crystal alone on those babies is normally so huge, and this one looks very thin and clear. Good looker.

I never expected this German brand to impress me so well in such short a notice ... Picked this pretty much unused EZM2 GSG9 from fellow WIS, JayVeeZ ... and WOAH !! What a fantastic piece of engineering ...

With a case that is WR to 12000m and to 5000m with the movement ... this gorgeous timepiece is only 13.5 mm thick !! CANNOT BELIEVE IT !!
German Engineering at its very best ...

Bought to accompany me at work everyday .. High-End Quartz made some good sense .. Though, I must say .. I was very apprehensive .. But that UX BOUNCE makes for some entertainment :) a bit like the magic of hacking mechanicals ...

A few pictures to roll the show ...

The dial and the relative shallowness of the case is a delight ... I very much enjoy it, I must say .. quite contrary to my love for 'depth in the case' .. I guess there is an exception to every rule .. Sinn GSG9 is EXACTLY THAT.

Finally, Lets hold this baby against the light and enjoy how light just bounces on and off playfully ...

I Tried .. I Certainly Tried ! But I couldn't stop myself from Clicking more and more of these ...

    Finally, A Few WristShots .....

And last but not the least .. BLACK AND WHITES ...

Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures ...

    Cheers

Gorgeous watch and shots as always, Nishant! I've long drooled over the Sinn Hydros. Simple, technical, and all business but with that touch of class.
