outstanding, nishant! Sinn is harcore no doubt and yours is a prime example. how is the lume under the oil, no different than normal I suspect?!?

Nice pics and great looking watch! Must...resist...temptation....
I have bought and sold the UX three times...My current version, the GSG9 is here to stay, (I'm pretty sure); the previous two, a standard version UX EZM2 B Hydro and the UX Black EZM2 B just didn't do it........This version is, IMO, the best "grab and go" watch around....'Grats Nishant.

The lume is a bit dimmer than 'normal' due to slight absorption by the oil. Sinn's aren't noted for nuclear lume, so if that's your thing then I'd look somewhere else. However IME the EZM2/2B are adequate for dark-adjusted eyes to see. Here's a lume shot comparison between the UX, EZM-2 and EZM-3:
The legibility through air and water is excellent and is easily the most impressive aspect of oil-filled watches:
Sinn pack a lot of technology into their watches (especially the EZM-series) and their construction quality is very high. Unfortunately, Sinn themselves have realised that and are moving upmarket price-wise![]()

That's amazing . . . it's like the water has no effect on the dial whatsoever. :O
Does the watch need to be sent back to Germany for a battery change and routine maintenance?
Or are there specialists in the States capable of doing the job?

Congrats on a great pickup.
Question for you (or anyone else here that knows the answer) ...
... does the hour hand move independently?
Thanks.
