Hey Gang!

It's time for a long overdue SEATTLE GTG - so Tyler (tyclu) and I have conspired to make it happen

I know there are several folks in Western Washington who have expressed an interest in such an event, but everyone is welcome to join us! There are plenty of hotels nearby and this time of year we may still have decent weather (but in Seattle it's a good idea to always be prepared for rain). We've allowed plenty of time so everyone can plan for travel, etc. If anyone is flying in, the new light-rail system can get you from SeaTac Airport to Downtown Seattle in about 35 minutes (Transit to/ from the Airport - SoundTransit)

While I'm posting this in the Dive Watch forum, I'm sure some of you have friends on other forums who may not see this, so please direct them here. I'm also going to post on some other boards and I'll keep a count here.

Please reply to the thread with a YES, NO, or MAYBE depending on your status - also, please note if you're also interested in a group dinner after the meet. (YES, no dinner or YES, both). Please only RSVP here, so we can be accurate with the count.

Here are the details;

DATE: Saturday, October 27, 2012

LOCATION: A nice pub in Seattle (specific location name & address to be provided to attendees & we will have an upstairs loft area to ourselves).

TIME: 3p-5p at the Pub, with a coordinated dinner after the meet for those who are interested. Place to be named at a later date, but there are many good places in the vicinity.

THE PLAN: I believe we will receive happy hour pricing during our visit. Bring your watches and we'll take the opportunity to put faces to names!

Additional details and/or updates will be forthcoming as they develop.

Absolutely! It's not about showing off your stuff, it's about enjoying the company of other watch geeks :)

You will likely get to see some pieces that aren't found in stores, so consider that a bonus.
