As an A1 owner, with the bracelet option ticked, I can tell you it is has chunky in spades

Armida A1 - not chucky enough.

Halios Laguna - Will add this to my list.

    Thanks
Are you sure you're looking at the right Armida? I ask because it's the chunkiest watch that has been mentioned in this thread.

At $700 I would have to say based on your criteria, hands down the Halios Laguna. A bespoke case, unique hands, great lume, very comfortable bracelet, very high quality piece. The included Isofrane with custom buckle really puts the whole package over the top at this pricepoint for micros. Although with the clearance price of that Zixen DSR-1000 you have a very good debate.
    Hamilton - Jazzmaster Seaview 1000 Halios - Laguna (Blue) Lum-Tec - M- 23 Omega - SMPc Seiko - SKX009 x2 XW - Tsunami x3 (Silver Sunburst)-(Orange Classic)-(RD Carribean Special)

    Looking at:
    Ocean7 LM-7
    Prometheus Manta Ray
    Helson Turtle
    Zixen DSR500

Aquadive is out of my price range at this stage.

Of these which one is going to satisfy me the most?
Have I missed any other brands?
Pick the one you like! That's all that matters. Our opinion is not relevant.

I would remove the Ocean 7 from the list, though. Wearing a clone of a popular watch doesn't feel very good. You'll be asked constantly "Is it an Omega?", and you might attract attention.

In terms of manufacturing quality, I can only speak about the Manta Ray. It's a wonderful Swiss watch with a great classic design. The built quality is outstanding. It stands above all the micro watches I ever had. It has a very a solid and reliable crown mechanism, 2 bezels, a very cool "tank wheel" bracelet. The only inconvenient is the weight. With the bracelet it's a bit on the heavy side (around 300gr).
    Have a wonderful time...

I too share Por44's suggestion. The Boschett Cave Dweller is an awesome watch with a look of its own.
