    Affordable/Durable 300m Dive Watch.

Looking for an affordable (less than $400) yet very durable dive watch rated at least 300m. I have an OM but i dont want to risk it crapping out at 10m thus i need a greater rated dive watch thats both affordable and durable, thx.

I don't think you have to worry about a Seiko OM "crapping out" at 10m .

That said, if you don't mind quartz, you might look at the Seiko SBBN007. Very tough tool watch, and at your price point.

Citizen "Ecozilla" 300M Titanium or S/S. I'd recommend the Ti version.

I agree. The OM is about as bulletproof as you can get for the money. The only recurring issue with lower-end Seiko auto movements is accuracy.

The SBBN007 is a superb choice. Without a doubt the best value watch I have ever owned. At the current exchange rate, it is $390 shipped from Higuchi in Japan.

I'll second the Tissot Seastar 1000 or maybe an Orsa Sea Angler.

Another one worth checking is the Citizen Eco-Drive (BN0000). It is rated at 300m.
