I sent mine back to Marathon about a month ago for the same reason, the crown would screw down like half a turn. It will be fixed under warranty, if yours still under warranty, contact Marathon and I'm sure they will take care of it.

Got mine fixed on warranty (I have a GSAR) after about 6mo. of use and now it's going again. I like the watch but my Seikos are holding up much better.

Just picked this up online NIB. Was debating between this and a Steinhart Ocean 1 Vintage. This was more but also more exclusive. Just put on the rubber strap. WOW!
