Re: Ball Deep Quest 3000m Watch

All Hydrocarbon watches use two screws per side to secure the end link. The big news is that they appear to have gone away from the previous slotted screws that are easy to slip off of to the Torx which are far more positive. These were used on the limited edition Orbital also last year. This is a mono block case so it is quite different from previous Hydrocarbon watches. One other big improvement to note for those of us with hairy arms is this bezel does not have the hair pulling tabs over the indexes like previous Hydrocarbons. Movement is a 2892 COSC.

I have to go look and see what I have with regards the dual marking on the Bezel. I seem to remember someone naming a few divers from the past that had the same setup.

My wife buys dogs and I buy watches and to date I have never stepped in watch poop!

The pics look really hot other than the comments made about the bezel markings. Would love to see live pics when they are available.

Everytime I see pics of the Deep Quest 3000M I want one more. I like both versions but I think the arabic numeral dial is my fav.

Good god, I love that thing! I agree that the bezel markings are a bit unusual, but man, that baby is pretty awesome looking!

I like it. Isn't there supposed to be a silver dial version as well?

I love Ball Watches so much. I truly wish they would make something in the 47+ mm range. It would be an instant grail for me.

    It looks amazing...

This one is an instant classic. Massive and elegant.

I like everything about it, except the price. $4000 is heavy.

Yes, $4K is not exactly pocket change, but considering that baby is comparatively creeping right up against the Rolex DeepSea, at nearly $7K less, in my opinion, Ball as not grossly overpriced this one.

Whether or not I'll ever write that check and take one home, who knows, but I actually thought that price was lower than I'd have guessed. That's a lot of watch right there.

I think the only "deep Quest" here is into the pocket of the customer
