    Bang for Buck

Getting into the watches the past couple years and I'm looking for the best bang for my buck in a new dive watch, preferably a classic black dial with black bezel on steel or titanium and a rubber strap with a clasp. I would like to spend less than 600 but can go for something over if I really like it. I also want an automatic movement but can live without it. Any suggestions? Doesn't need to fulfill all these requirements

Armida makes some nice dive watches in the $350-$550 range. I have a blue A9. ARMIDA WATCHES

Can't go wrong with a Steinhart Ocean diver.

Diver Watch - Steinhart Watches - fine exclusive timepieces

Not many are sold with a rubber strap, but there are a lot of nice after market rubber straps out there.

    Re: Bang for Buck

I really like the Armida, Steinhart, and the Tempest. I do like Seiko, but I really like the not so common or boutique"ish" brands. I am also interested in a steel or gray bezel. Basically I am looking for a diver that I can wear in coat and tie so that it can match black belt/shoes. These are great, but I have learned the hard way to always do more than enough research to avoid buyer's remorse.
