Which are Better? Maratac Nato? Or Time Factors?

Hi Everyone, recently I purchased a Nato strap for my diver and now I'm hooked.. I love the utility look of it... The Nato I have is a Maratac 5 Ring Zulu... I loved it so much I actually bought a replacement so I'll have it on hand in case this one is ever discontinued... I'm not thinking about getting a Gray Nato... I'm thinking about ordering the gray from Maratac, But I recently found Timefactors website, and I like the look of their nato's.... Having never handled one, The Timefactors appear a little lower profile... Possibly a bit slimmer... Should I just order another gray Nato from Maratac? Or should I give time Factors a shot? The strap will go on a Seiko SKX779 / Monster. Thanks!

My favorites are Maratac, but give the Time Factors a shot. They have stellar reviews from what I've seen. Plus the bead blasted hardware will match your bead blasted Monster more than the brushed steel hardware of the Maratacs. Time Factors also has a PVD hardware version if you are going for a stealth look and Maratac doesn't have a black hardware version for their NATOS, only for their Zulu hardware.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the Zulu is not the same animal as a NATO G10. Zulus are thicker nylon, longer and have rounded, more substantial hardware. They're normally preferred for heavier watches like the Monster.

Both Maratac and Timefactors straps are equally very highly regarded, and you won't go wrong with either. Choice is usually dependent on which portion of the planet you're on. (Maratac, US, Timefactors, UK/EU). Timefactors also have their own version of the Zulu, the Rhino.

If you're talking about Zulu straps, I prefer Maratac.

If your talking about NATO straps, the ones that Eddie sells at Timefactors are absolutely the best.

You may also want to consider panatime. I recently picked up a black 5 ring zulu with black pvd hardware from them and I found the quality to be at least as good (or better) than a similar 3 ring zulu I got from Maratec. Its very substantial and if you are looking for something for a larger heavy watch (like some of the micros) it definitely does the job. No experience with timefactors.

Another option is gnomonwatches, they have a big variety of colors and finish. Their natos r not as thick as the maratacs but i reckon its softer and fits watches that have tighter lugholes-case spacings. Their zulus are thick if thats what your looking for.
