    Blu-mo Unboxing

Got a new watch today. Thought I'd do an unboxing thread as practice for when I get my Olivier Bronze Diver. Sadly, the Bronze Diver was recently delayed due to some dial issues. I am happy to wait for perfection, and I can't complain because it gave me a good reason to pick up this beauty...the Seiko SBDC003, or Blue Sumo.

Ordered from Higuchi Wednesday, and the mailman attempted to deliver yesterday but I wasn't home. Found a minute to run by the post office (thankfully extremely close to my house) and quickly ripped open the box. Then I attempted to size the bracelet, but those stupid pin and collars! I thought I could do it with help from the guide on the PMWF forum, but I decided to go to my watch guy instead. I think it saved me a ton of hassle.

Anyways, I am really enjoying the watch so far. Beautiful lines, great color, amazing lume, and definitely not as large as I thought it would be from my research on the watch (that could be because I was wearing my Armida A1 to begin the day).

    Hope y'all enjoy.

Btw, I completely recommend ordering from Higuchi. Good selection, Best prices, Great communication, and Fast shipping.

Looks fantastic, Seiko seems to have the right idea with this watch, just too bad they couldn't do a little better with the crystal. Hope you get a chance to wear it and enjoy it. thanks for sharing.

Congrats. Now all you need is the ratcheting clasp.

Congrats and welcome to the club, now you need an orange one!! Honestly, I don't mind the crystal or the clasp- sure the ratchet is kinda cool and it cleans up the bracelet a bit but I'm not put off by the stock one. I did however take give the stock clasp, blades and all, a brushed finish. This gave the watch a more refined look versus the stamped and polish.
