I ordered one today and i see its 904l steel instead of 316l.
Also i hope the coating is durable ie is it DLC /PVD.

Really? It says 316L with IP coating on the spec list at Bradystraps (http://www.bradystraps.com/Watches.php)

Has anyone tried something else than a NATO / Zulu on their frog?

I'm not the biggest NATO / Zulu fan, so it would be nice to see what it looks like on bracelet and leather or whatever else might work.

Yes there's a protective film on the bezel , dont be scared just peel it off.
Really love my new bombfrog , the only slight negative i have found is the bezel is maybe just a little easy to turn.
