I inquired to the manufacturer about the stuttering issue. She said it happened in a very small portion of their watches and the problem was fixed.

I have one one the way too...sounds like in the same shipment as yours. Cannot WAIT to get it on my wrist. We've had to wait since January for this one but I have a feeling we're going to feel it was well worth the wait. Congrats...to us! :)

I bought the original Bombfrog with a stuttering hand - I like the watch and the hand hasn't bothered me. The jerking is caused by them attaching a tritium tube to the second hand. On certain angles the movement has insufficient torque to move the hand naturally. It doesn't affect timekeeping though. Its been a great watch

Nothing like waiting for a new piece of wrist gear to show up. Sounds and looks like the BF will be well worth the wait. Todd will be fixing me up with a Platinium stiched Sailcloth strap to match. This Frog will also look great on an OD Maratac 2 piece ZULU with SS hardware.

Is the Miyota 8215 a "torquier" movement than the Seiko NH15 I believe they used in the first edition (just thinking it may handle the weight of the tritium tube on the hand better)?

Looking forward to this one as I am a big fan of "BLUE" tritium.

Per my email from Bradystraps, #1-6 are supposed to ship 7/20/12. Does this mean that they are shipping several weeks ahead of schedule? If so, has yours hit stateside yet?
