The Carl F. Bucherer Patravi ScubaTec has been emboldened with several new models launched at Baselworld in April of this year.

This luxury diver model features a steel case, but it is topped with a rose gold bezel is available in four versions and two colours of dial: white and blue. The watches come with a rubber or steel and pink gold bracelet.

Robust and easy to read both above and below seas, the 44.6mm Patravi ScubaTec is powered by the COSC certified CFB 1950.1 automatic movement with a 38 hour power reserve.

Water resistant to 500m, the case bears a screw-down crown and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides. A helium valve ensures that the gas escapes automatically without damaging the case when the diver is ascending and descending in the diving bell.

The glowing blue markers are emblematic of the sea, as are the markings on the first quarter of the bezel and the notch of the same colour on the crown. A further design detail is found on the case back, where a relief of two manta rays has been incorporated with a 3-D effect.

The watch comes on a black & blue rubber strap, or a stainless steel strap, equipped with a stainless steel diving lock and a screw down crown.

List price for the watch range starts at around US$6,800. If you have fallen for this particular model the reference number is: 00.10632.24.23.
