I know this thread deals with people that already received their watches. I held off on paying the balance until the tests were complete. I am guess Dion will he handling those who received their watches first before fulfilling pending orders. Anyone have any info on this?

btw... yes, it really does smell like a penny. undeniable sulfur smell. hehe ( i heard sulfur is good for your skin, if you decide to keep the case. ^_~ )

other straps are also made with regattare bronze in mind:

Dark chocolate brown with red stiching
Dark vintage tan with with stitching that matches coper-oxide, matching extreme patina
Walnut with cream stitching

As we will receive the new cases in one batch, it is a safe bet that owners will be served first to reduce waiting time. We did not take the final decision if we will create a new bronze model. Probably yes, but cannot say right now.

Hey Stevo, I hadn't noticed any of this brass/bronze business until tonight - I actually ordered from the NZ website less than a couple of weeks ago. And #691 arrived today! Am I also eligible for a case swap or free strap ?? Where do I go to register? Can you post the global link as well as the Euro one.
I actually ordered mine with the brown strap as I think the black looks dreadful with the brown - so option A is of little interest.
It is a fantastic design and a great reminder of home (like Hokey Pokey and Lamb Shanks) - but now I read all this I am never going to be able to look at the "bronze" on the dial knowing it's brass.

I got as email from Dion that he has refunded my deposit. Does this mean that the order has been canceled and that there is no plans to fulfill orders not already delivered? Just want to make sure.
