Find the options strange that Dion decided to let customers have the option to keep the brass cased pieces. Will think that that the different variations of his products will confuse people eventually. Of cos, I recognize that a lot of us have grown to like what we have on our wrists (its still on mine) but felt there is a need to 'differentiate' the variations to protect eventual 2nd owners being 'tricked' (into wrong material) again.

Perhaps an actual dial change or something simple?
I understand that position - I had a reservation for a second batch bronze, but only brass was offered so I declined. Now, if I want to pick up a second-hand real bronze, it will be difficult to prove if the case is brass or bronze.

On the other hand, it is not possible to force people to return their brass if they want to keep it.

agreed - I think the new cases need to be distinguished by a small engravers mark --- I assume the caseback will be replaced also to reflect the new 10atm rating?

    Thanks for the update Stephan.

I'll go for option B, the swap. Good to know the WR will be upgraded.

We thought about that. We cannot ask people to send it back if they want to keep it. Some just want to keep it because they like it as it is, or as an anomality... But the CuSn8 bronze case will have different markings. And papers. So that angle should be covered.

Well done. Look forward to my "new" bronze Magrette when the switch is available!
Better to regret something you have done, than something you haven't done...

Can't fault the efforts of Dion and Stevo to right all the 'wrongs'! Salute!
Those of us running around in pandemonium should just chill. Anger/fear are so unfounded here.
Can't wait to see the new markings!

How about a leather strap with Maori markings stamped on it? I would pay for an extra strap like that. Also, black on both sides would be nice. And a few other options like a black strap with a blue side (uumm, err, black and blue strap...).

    And another thing...

Just out of curiosity, is there a timeline for when which customers will get their emails? Is it going by region? By order number?

(Also, any news about the chronographs? I want one! No, I want both! I want two of each! Although if I can only have one, I want the one with the rotating bezel.)
