    Among the criteria would be;
    Automatic with Hand wind function
    44mm diameter
    preferably 22mm lugs.
    Clean dial, no chronograph.

Would love to get opinion for other options as well. perhaps other swiss brand?
Of course i appreciate any input / pics.

    Thanks a million guys.
    Here ya go.

It's the size you want, automatic and you can choose from a few colors and finishes + the price isn't much at all (about $350 USD)

    its worth a look.

Lots of suggestion chipped in and thanks all for that. i must say the helson white shark is awesome looking watch, but currently sold out. I am not a lume freak, but a good lume is welcome.

P/s; on the other hand, can ETA movement be handwound? (sorry newby question) there are couple of watches attract me, but using ETA 2824-2. It is in this aspect im leaning towards those two; the sumo and the OS300m.

still welcoming suggestions. Hope this will helps others too.

+1 what others have said: Helson, Prometheus, etc.

As for classic Ocean-1 submariner styling, with a bit of its own, look at CHRISTOPHER WARD. I like the idea that the hands are a bit different (no Mercedes) trident second hand.

Other Recommendations (in no particular order)

Boschett Reef Ranger / Ocean Mariner / Cave Dweller
    Ocean7 LM-6
    Artego
    Precista PRS-3
Tsunami (if you can get one)
    Benarus

Yes, you can handwind the 2824-2, but don't do it very often. I can't remember the reason why, but if you frequently handwind that movement, it can cause damage. I have a lot of watches with the 2824-2 movement in them, and I never handwind them.

Let me chip in and also say the Halios Laguna is great watch. Listed as 43mm but wears larger. Not obnoxiously large. Clean very legible display. Comes on bracelet with an Isofrane added in the box. You'd probably have to wait for next batch or try to find one on the sales corner. Very very comfortable.

Just got my Certina DS Action automatic, and its a very nice watch!
ETA 2824-2, 43-44mm and its about 800 usd, but you can make a good deal with your dealer. Its hard too find in north america, but common in Europe and Asia.

Helios certainly is in my radar now!

Had bump into this during the weekends, able to fondle it and i must say its quite comfy. Using 4r36 movement, handwound automatic with hacking secs. What say u guys? it is definitely much cheaper.

    Any thoughts?
