    I wouldn't buy a watch with a cyclops

Ugh, hate them. Makes the watch look geriatric.

Love them. I think it adds interest and they are kind of iconic. Plus, as a 47 year old, it is nearly impossible to read the dates on some of my watches. Count me as a big fan.

"Affordable" just means you end up spending the same amount of money, but end up with a greater number of watches. -MandoBear

It's kind of watch-to-watch for me, I enjoy them on some watches.

Not a fan, go with a big date complication if it's really needed.

Exactly, you do not need a date at all. No date, no cyclops, problem solved.

Hate-on troll. You didn't earn my money. Mind your own business you incredibly smug, supercilious, inverted snob.

Used to think they were cool, but after owning a sub, it obscures your vision of the date at any angle except straight on. Maybe in 30 years I'll appreciate it, but right now I hate them.

I am not a fan of the cyclops. I feel like an old man needing magnification to see the date. It's irrelevant under the sea when I am searching for buried treasure.

I used to hate them, but now I think they are perfect for some watches, definitely not all. The Datejust is one of them. Certain older Tudors as well.
