About the "mine is bigger than yours" stuff... Yeah, you'll always have those posers but not so much around here. We're in for the look and the technology on this sub-forum. My non-WIS friends could care less about my other dive watches but are completely enthralled hearing that my BS300 will go halfway to the Mariana Trench. But then again I wear 'em for me, not other people. Having something that can accomplish a feat like that is pretty cool to have on my wrist. Even if no one cares.
Any watch producer can stick 2,000, 10,000 or 20,000 metres on the dial, but can it be substantiated?

Having myself been WELL North of that, I can tell you you owe it to yourself to try it someday :) Somewhere SAFE!

And for what it's worth, I've had my dive watches down to a staggering 15-18 meters lol

Easy get a 2001M snorkel and try it, don't bother with a wet suit, wear what you want for that dive.
Plumbers corner in Ace hardware should be able to supply you with a PVC Snorkel extension kit., don't forget the pictures.

This thread pops up from time to time, and for some reason this one is still going.
A simple Google search of this would have told you all you needed to know on the diving side in under a second. As for why the valve is on the watch, has been covered from several view points. Starting to wonder if this thread was on the up and up.
