Thanks: to all of you who have participated in the design thread and discussion regarding DWP "Dive Watch Project" our WUS Member Engineer - Designer Extraordinaire' produced what might be the greatest forum designed watch ever. See below.

Update: The drawings were sent to LONGIO that generated further production drawings. We are working on production to insure reasonable price while maintaining conformity with original design.

Reservations: Serial Nos. that have been reserved. See below. If you made a request via PM to me, and I replied, then there is no need to reconfirm.



SERIAL No. RESERVED:
1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 12, 18, 33, 37, 40, 57, 69, 70, 77, 79, 88, 100.

I have received messages from about 20 other members regarding reservations, or serious interest, but no specific request for a serial nos.

Pre-Orders: After the watchmaker establishes price, and projected production schedule, then I will post more information. At that time, we will need 50-pre-orders to make this watch a reality.

If this is already posted somewhere and i missed it i apologize...the watch looks very cool, what is the process to pre-order...is there a deposit required?

I believe deposit will be 50% if I remember correctly, price is still up in the air though. Im interested in knowing when deposits will be taken too.

Thank you Graeme -- I will take this opportunity to answer several questions and PMs. So far there is no official price. We are going to try to make the watch REASONABLE. $500 - $700. Please don't hold me to it, but that is the desired range, 'cause we want WUS MEMBERS to buy this watch.

Movement -- my recollection is that the poll / vote was in favor of ETA 2824, but there were quite a few who said they were fine with Miyota.

Deposits: not until we have price and production squared away, and then we will need 50 deposits. Most likely at least 50% or 100% pre-order payment will be required. Why? Because this is a cooperative effort. Both myself and the designer have volunteered countless hours, and the watchmaker is not wanting to finance this project. And to maintain the authenticity of this as a REAL FORUM "Dive Watch Project" I believe that those who want the watch and want to make the commitment will realize the added value of knowing that they made it possible, and they didn't just order a watch stock.
