    Hi guys, would like your opinions (good or bad, but good is encouraged :D) on this mesh strap on my Eterna.

    Here are some very Q&D snaps :)

    Mesh = bleh...

    I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Friends don't let friends do mesh. Even on the PloProf, I find it to be awkward and anachronistic (which is really saying something, since we're talking about an ungainly, vintage diver...).

    That said, your Eterna is beautiful, and honestly, I've seen worse applications of mesh, so if it floats your boat, wear it with pride.

    Regards,
    Adam

    PS - Really, that Eterna is simply gorgeous.

    I agree with Craniotes...beautiful watch that is diminished by that mesh bracelet. To me, mesh just looks tacked on unless you have hidden lugs...again, beautiful watch!

    I think it looks perfect. It makes it look very retro and adds to a beautiful watch.

    I think mesh looks great on almost any watch. The only reason I might not wear it on your KonTiki is that the watch is so beautiful that a rubber or the right leather strap or even a bracelet with solid, curved end links would really draw attention to the watch itself and enhance it's beauty.

    By the way, I love the watch. A vintage KonTiki is on my grail list.

    I'm generally a mesh fan, but on this one I think it detracts from the watch a bit (and the straight bracelet ends are a bit off, too, IMHO)... the watch itself is gorgeous - put it on something simple and let it shine!

    I don't normally like mesh, but I do like it on that watch - beautiful watch, by the way. An oyster bracelet might be even better, especially if you could get some endlinks that worked with it!
