A few shots of the Skindiver and the Fifty five fathoms

I like the classic look of these, the FFF Seiko wears great, if there was a better movement {nothing wrong with the 7s36 seiko really it is a strong runner and this one keeps great time} and a screw down crown, a dot of lume on the bezel and it could jump to the head of the wrist class for me.

The replacement dial on the Seiko has some pretty good lume for such small dots too

The Fifty Five is a lot of fun for the $175 total I've got in it.

Very nice. I MUST get one of those Seiko FFF's. I like the shorter lug-to-lug on the Seiko compared to the Helson. I can't seem to find any of the SNZH57's for sale right now.

The Skindiver is putting some serious hurting on my no more watches in 2011 resolve.
TAG Heuer Monaco Vintage (3122/4000)|Chase Durer UDT|Omega Speedmaster Professional|Halios Bluering|Helson Shark Diver 42|Marathon GSAR|Universal Geneve Compax

A man's watch is a very cherished thing. You steal that, you might as well be stealing his soul.

Actually, it's not the dots that are small, it's the hands that are slightly too big.

Talk about small markers - BP's own homage to a mid-60's vintage Fifty:

    Better:

Having owned the Precista PRS-50, I'd say Eddie at Precista really went the extra mile to capture the essence of that era's Fifty Fathoms. Too bad it's so damn thick! Otherwise I'd still own it.

Very nice pair. Enjoy them in good health.

The Helson and Seiko are nice watches. However, I ended up flipping the Seiko, once the Helson arrived. A friend wanted it and I didn't need both.
Perhaps, I'll pick another one up down the road.

Here's my two. Both look great but not too sure they're my style...certainly the Seiko's bracelet fails to flatter. Tryin to figure whether buying a new strap for it will be worthwhile

    Watch list:

Rolex Explorer II 216570, Omega Speedmaster Pro 3570.50
    , Seiko Orange Boss SKA291P1, Casio G-Shock M5600
