Nice pickup Big James. One of Seiko's best looking dive watches. Enjoy and hope it stays around awhile.....

Common practice to pull the crown and the watch to 1:50 keeps the hands apart and displays the dial the best. It actaually has nice heft for its size and to me wears nicely. I have had bigger and smaller. While I can wear larger does not mean I have to plus to me it looks very shall we say Zen on my wrist. Its not going to the outer edges of my wrist bones. Its 50mm lug to lug which is longer than my Doxas Armida A1 etc.

Um...looks kinda tiny on your 8in. wrist IMO. You getting into small watches now?
Plus isn't that watch titanium? It must feel light on that ISO, no?
Just razzing Ya of course. You enjoy your watch.

BTW just curious. Why do you pull your crown out when you take pics of your watches?

Common practice? As in common sense? For who? You?
I understand the best way to display a dial is set the hands to 10:10 or 1:50 as you like to do it. But I've never pulled out my crown on over a thousand of my pics. Just curious about this "common practice' of pulling out the crown, prompt me to go check every pic on today's WRUW thread. Nope, not one crown pulled. And no one's second hand blurred either.
I don't have a problem with you pulling out your crown for pics, I was curious as to why, then the "common practice" answer.
My mistake. I thought the MM300 was Ti. I must of confused it with the MM600.
And your watch does look great on you buddy

I read a thread long ago about watch photography and it was suggested there. I typicially always do it when the watch first comes in as its not set yet or when its not been worn for a while. IMO just makes for a better pic. The " common" comment meant alot of folks do it when the photography is staged. No need to get testy :P

Very nice. I am glad you are happy with the MM300, as it is one of the finest dive watches to date IMHO. Wear it well my friend.
