    Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk Pro II

New toy arrived yesterday. Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk Pro II in Titanium and Rose Gold. Interesting thing, the Serial number is #1... I've reached out to GP to see if they can supply any info on the history of the watch (just thought it would be cool to know). Sorry for the quality of the pics... A professional photographer I am NOT
Thinking about replacing the rubber strap with Shark.

The Rose Gold combined with the Titanium is an awesome combination. I've owned Rolex's in the past and IMHO the GP is everywhere as nice if not better than the Rolex. The pictures do no justice to this watch, the carbon face looks 3 dimensional and with the rose gold markers, hands and silver second hand and power reserve... SWEET!

This is my second GP and I have my eyes on a couple others....

Only issue with this one now is that it runs fast (aprx 2 mins a day) I don't think the prior owner ever had is serviced and it's probably 10 yrs old (based on the serial number)

Anyone know of a GP qualified repair shop in Central Florida?

    Pic on the wrist......

Flip it my way when ready
    Wonderful watch, great pedigree
Jealous, yeah. Can you tell us where bought and how much?

I have been chasing them, bought the JeanRichard as it was all I could get.
    Lucky guy you are

Saw it on eBay... contacted the seller directly (out of NYC).. had him take it to a GP AD and confirm that it was authentic (they also had to replace the strap as the rubber strap for these watches are cut to size, the previous owner had a 6.34" wrist.. mine is 7.5") and then made a deal that was under $5k.... I've learned with the GP's that the list price appears to be a number out of the sky. So, if your patient and look around a little (eBay, Chrono24, the forum sales threads) you can find nice used watches. I, personally, have no problem with used timepieces.. I look at like I'm just the temporary owner of a wonderful watch that will belong to someone else at some point.

BTW.. I've never owned a JeanRichard but I do like the looks of them!!

The GP seahawk pro II is the best watch and daily wearer in my collection. Even with 2 IWC's. I ended up getting mine for $6K new, but mines not number 1 or rose gold, so your price is great. I'd leave it on the rubber for the time being. I think it looks great. Enjoy. And also good to see you're wearing it rather than putting it in a safe.
