    The human eye sensitivity peaks in the green area of the color spectrum. Thus a given amount of green radiant energy is more visible than the same amount of energy at any other color.

    Note on this curve that the green sensitivity is 3X to 5X the blue sensitivity, depending on the tint of blue.

    Green for sheer visibility, blue for the cool factor...

    I don't have a lot of watches with blue lume, though, as I tend to favor C3...

    I like both green and blue lume. JLC states it uses a new, more "powerful" compound of Superluminova for its blue lume which I have to say is very long lasting and quite bright (can't wait for my NS Auto replacement to arrive; I miss wearing this one! ):

    I prefer the look of blue personally.

    In my experience the blue lume from Citizen is not as bright initially as some green lume (Seiko's for instance) but it lasts extremely well and glows brighter than just about all of the green lumed watches I have seen.
