    Halios Holotype Roll Call

    The Tool Thread got me thinking about my favorite tool watch. The Halios Holotype was released in early to mid May of 2009 so I thought it would be a good idea to do a roll call, especially since the Halios Bluering has its own roll call thread and the Laguna coming at the end of May.

    Here are some specs....
    316L SS Case, 44mm wide case, 16mm deep, with a lug to lug of 45mm and 24mm lugs with a stock big and brawny SS bracelet.
    120 click uni Bezel, Sapphire crystal with inner AR coating
    300 mm water resistance
    21jewel Miyota 8215 movement with a 45 Hr power reserve.

    It has frequently been noted to be " the one that started it all" among the boutiques, although I am not sure why... The Dreadnaught came out in 2003. But it was my first micro diver and has a special place in my collection

    I have been thinking of selling this one but......






    maybe not yet. This is like having $$$ cause, even though it's not perfect (micro swirl on crystal and a very little pvd loss around screwbar holes) I know if I ever list it, it will go fast!! I would sell it, then see it here and regret it!

    No 281 Bead-blasted black dial living here in Fremantle, Western Australia. This baby is a permanent member in my watch rotation

    I don't have one, but I came very close. I've never seen a Halios I don't like. Shame I don't own one.

    I dont think the BR is better...its just a completely different kind of feel. I love them both.
