Nice trick. I guess I haven't been around long enough to know how to do that. Good to know, though

I didn't have any credit card foreign transaction fees when I bought a Puck in the second batch in February (and my credit card does charge these fees when I am over seas).

I hope with all these troubles and waiting and not seeing a watch that I paid for is worth it. Boggles my mind that they can't even take a picture of a production piece Blue Laguna to show to those who already paid for it. And Jason was saying there's another delay? My $725 on-hold for 3 weeks is not a good sign at all IMO.

    Patience guys....

Jason has already been late on other watches. Most micro's are late.... case point is Olivier (but that one is pushing 2 months now and still no ETA let alone communication).... At least Jason provided an ETA and gives info.

Everyone complained last time when the pre-order process was sketchy on the Pucks.... he did not take money last time for the preorder process (which was much more secret)... this time I think this is a lot more fair to do it this way.... than by the way that it was carried out last time with the puck.

    Dude, your noob is showing.

Production delays are just about standard. It always happens. Get a dive watch of similar quality to the Laguna from an AD you will be out of pocket a hell of a lot more than $725. Only you can decide if waiting is worth the price premium. If its not there are 10 guys who will happily take your spot in the Laguna queue.

Jason is a standup guy and will do the right thing by you every time....but I'm guessing you had heard that many times before

I have no problem waiting on my Blue Laguna, Jason's rep speaks for itself. But a pic would be nice...they have to have at least 1 prototype built....and today is the release date :)

Yeah : mainstream = non unique diver, and $1500 to $2000 for equivalent model.

Re: Halios Pre-order is just a few hours away............Who's In ????????????

geesh guys.... come on... I was harsh on Roland at Olivier for his now two month late diver, but were all you guy spoon fed up until you were 15 years old?

There is a short delay with Jason. He is keeping us in the loop far better than other micros out there. There is no 'prototype" as he has already built the Puck and the Laguna (three versions). He probably only has a dial sample to match up to what is going on the laguna.

Just patiently wait. ALL MICROS WILL BE LATE. just accept it. These guys don't have multi-departmental manufacturing firms to follow up on lead times and production of parts and components. They are usually one man organizations putting out great products.... all we need to do is wait a few weeks (for the most part).
