    Great stuff!

You are a cool dude with the same watch but the bracelet looks to be different from the standard mesh. Looks good By the Way.

We shall both enjoy wearing this monster. I am desk diving for the moment until I go to Hawaii next year when I will take this 1200M to where it will be at grining from ear to ear. I have to say that if I take the watch down to 1200M - 4000ft; the watch will survive but I won't! so, 30M or $100ft will do nicely thanks. I think I amy just survive that one!

I have great respect for The Rolex Sea-Dweller now revised to take it to 3000M over 12000ft and the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms because they have theor own stories. There other good ones too like Doxa Sub models. So, I appreciate what these do for the enthusiast - most of whom like me are "desk divers!" Who has gone beyond 200m or 660 ft diving? Omega Planet Ocean is a superb watch with the co-axial movement now upgraded to the 8500 like the PloProf 1200M.

I agree and thanks - glad to be amongst those who appreciate good watches. Helson is moving upwards leaps and bounds. Lets all support him!

Happy diving (desk diving for me mainly!)

    Thanks.
I feel like a cool dude rockin' this bad boy, on this bracelet, every time I wear it.
Plus, I have the option of mounting the Ploprof mesh anytime the mood strikes me.
Blah, blah, blah,...I love my watch

An MBA is an MBA, there isn't a sub category or subspecialty in it. And it (along with any other graduate degree from a reputable university) is much more difficult to obtain than a Ploprof 1200.

    Totally uncool sir !
that's right Nishant...and the rude behavior started right off the bat...and from a Moderator no less....just disssing (again) another person's "happy watch moment".

Here's another classic example of "congratulating" someone and then pi$$ing all over them

Sorry, but like you Nishant, I expect something different, when someone gets or makes a new to them watch, and is happy about it

Where did I diss the guy's watch? I wished him congratulations.

However, to throw around nonsense like somehow buying a watch is equivalent to the achievement of completing graduate school, that is nonsense.

Interpret the post however you want, but the truth is the truth. Calling something what it is not doesn't make it so.

You have misinterpreted the posting topic not what it was intended - it was an analogy or a paradigm. Obtaining these watches in the world of horology is graduating to top level for watch collectors. MBA is top level for graduatiing academic studies. I was not saying that buying this watch is an equivalent for obtaining MBA of academic studies or is a substitute therefore, I was saying that those who study horology and know Swiss watches, by obtaining a piece of this caliber is graduating to a high level of knowing and understanding horology as if one went from a bachelor to MBA level of just being a watch connaiseur. Come on, don't tell me you did not realize that and you can't be naive in thinking that one gets the MBA for having such piece and puts it on one's resume for employment purposes?! Where is one's sense of humor and pun - omg; I cannot believe you take such a posting so literally - how sad!

I'm sorry, buying a new watch does not elevate one in the world of horology. Plenty of people buy watches without knowing why they are paying so much. The Helsons and PP1200 are fine watches, and each have their own merit. The contribution one makes to the knowledge base here, regardless of watches owned, is a higher level of achievement in my estimation than just saying I am able to afford a new watch. I know you are enthusiastic about your pickups and that is excellent, but please do not equate accomplishment with material acquisitions.

As for the highest academic achievement in studies - that would be a Ph.D., not an MBA. There are quite a few folks who obtain an MBA then go further to obtain a Ph.D. in say, Economics. And beyond a Ph.D. there are associated achievements such as becoming established as an independently funded researcher who is well published in top tier peer-reviewed journals.

Ok enough of this. I know you were excited about your watch and that is fine. But also understand that when you make big claims, someone might just call you on it. I share no hard feelings on the matter and am always glad when people are excited about watches.
