Looks like watches are assembled in the US, except for the Swiss M autos.
Components are sourced worldwide, which is pretty standard now for smaller companies.
Thanks! Good info. That's what I thought. So now I wonder how they will price the Lum-Tec M53/M54. These will either have quartz or Sii NH35J Japanese automatic movements. So I wonder if this will be priced similar to the Magrette Regattarre Bronze (with Miyota automatic) movement. But then again if they are assembling in Switzerland and US, the assembly costs are definitely higher than that in New Zealand so these many end up being in $900 - $1500 range after-all.

Owning both LT M series and the Regattare, I can assure you the cases -- while similar in size -- are quite distinctly different.

I suspect the LT bronze M's will be priced around $US700-850, but we'll need to wait until next week to find out ;)

I really liked the Magrette bronze and was thisclose to pulling the trigger on one, but the dial was just too similar to my Anonimo Militare...

WOW!! That's uncomfortably similar; like twins lost at birth. That Anonimo Militare looks like the brother who was adopted by a rich family and now works on wall street. Magrette comparatively looks like the brother that became a "slumdog"; (just my observation on first sight).

They will not be quartz. The M53/54 will only have the Seiko movement.

no offense to lum tec owners but they are generic as the day is long .

Generic as in...? All watches are generic to a certain extent -- type, size, movement, case shape/material -- it's the subtle variations that distinguish them.

In LÜM-TEC's case, there is the hallmark use of lume, subtle design elements around the traditional pillow case, distinctive model series, the use of tungsten carbide for cases in some models, and -- above all -- superlative customer service.

My grail, there. Barring that? Olivier. Glad he's pulled ahead in the poll!
