Input needed - about to purchase my GSAR

Hi folks, I have a offer to buy a BNIB Marathon GSAR Sterile Dial with the Marathon (also BNIB) bracelet for $775. Can you tell me if you think thats a good enough deal to pull the trigger? Looking on eBay comparables it seems to be about $80 under average (if you factor in buying the bracelet too), let me know your thoughts though please. Thanks!

Seems like a good enough deal to me. Maybe a little high, but if it's something you really want, it's up to you.

Thanks for your quick input Drop of a Hat - Yes i can see where it may, the only caveaut is that is does have the sterile dial and I will be getting both the rubber and stainless bands for that. I know the rubber is only worth like $30. Also, this quote is coming from an Authorized Dealer. I may go may back and see if i can do $750.

I personally love the US govt markings on my TSAR. But it's all personal preference. Is this topspecus?

I'm looking for non US markings because of lots of international travel/living. Just my personal preference. Yep it is top spec, they are really nice and I want to work with them but don't want to be overpaying.

Hmmm isn't the bracelet clasp a lot more of an attraction of attention because of the American seal? The dial on the other hand......I don't think anybody has noticed the markings from afar.

Based on what I'm seeing on the TopSpec site, 775 for a sterile dial GSAR with the bracelet seems like a good deal. I got my TSAR, 2010 contract, with the bracelet for 440 shipped from the sales forum if that means anything to you. There's a pre-owned, US Gov't GSAR in the sales forum right now for $750. Getting one brand new sterile dial GSAR for $775 on a bracelet..? sounds good to me.

It very well could be, i'm not too sure. My personal preference is for the sterile dial. It is just hard to determine of its actually worth any more money than the US govt. versions.

Quick update, I ended up making my purchase off eBay $720 for a mint sterile dial GSAR. Then picked up a bracelet for $100 off another sale forum. So it wasn't cheap but I can't wait to get them in!
