Re: Isofrane...just got it and love it

I just purchased a used U1 via WUS and it came with an Isofrane and I have to say, I'm really impressed so far with the strap (and the watch). This basically reiterates what others have said but its comfortable, controls the heft of the U1 nicely without having to be overly tight, smells good, although the scent to me smells more like marshmallows, a somewhat artificial vanilla scent versus the smell of a vanilla bean but, regardless, it smells better than funky wrist stench. Also, the beadblasted buckle matches the U1 almost perfectly.

Great band, I would have no problem spending a $100 on a new Isofrane.

agree ... and they are so thick & chunky in the buckle side, that it is always getting caught on stuff.

definately has potential but needs a new design .... thinner on the ends!

Re: Isofrane...just got it and love it

Pardon my question but I did try to find the answer on my own. Isofrane's web site said that the "effective length" is 195 mm. What is the overall length and would it be too long on my 6 and 7/8 inch wrist? Thanks in advance for your input.

    No worries...it'll fit

My wrist is 7 1/4 & I wear mine in the 6th notch/hole from the smallest setting. There is at least another inch to make it smaller

    Cheers

Mine comes Monday. I ordered the black IN, but Isofrane went out of stock, so they upgraded me to the RS buckle for free. Great customer service :).

Nice, instead of making you wait they take the loss and give you the more expensive buckle :)

    I agree, good service.

I'm going to try one out as an alternative to the Omega rubber.
